VIDEO PRODUCER
Ehm & Co., the parent company to YMC.ca, is on the prowl for a self-motivated, skilled video maven with a fierce love for beautiful storytelling and social media.
What you will be doing:
- Create long-term video plan, collaborating with editors and audience development team to deliver on key KPIs
- Ownership of weekly Facebook Live show (Moms in the Morning)
- Conceive, pitch and execute video story ideas for clients and internal projects
- Oversee production (including talent, script, casting, location, propping, shoot coordination, graphic elements) of our original video series and client projects
- Collaborate with team colleagues, including editors, designers and the art director
- Plan and manage livestreaming opportunities on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube
- Managing video curation on social channels to include Facebook, Instagram and Youtube
- Some shooting and editing of DSLR video may be required
What you have:
- A post-secondary degree
- Three to five years of video production/editing/filming experience at a major publication, website, agency or TV network
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite essential
- Experience with DSLR cameras, audio capturing equipment and continuous lighting
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, team-oriented work ethic
- Superior organizational and time management abilities
- Strong interest in web and social media
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook , Instagram and Youtube
- Ability to work under pressure and rise to creative challenges under tight deadline
